Yhteenveto:In Colombia, as in other Latin American countries, educational reforms are being carried out with the aim of promoting quality education. Thus, current psychology programs undergo from time to time an evaluation and rethinking of their curricula, content, methods, assessment practices and other aspects in order to improve, redefine and contextualize psychology education. Thus, this book invites us to reflect on how, why and for what purpose to train psychologists today in Colombia and how research training provides spaces for reflection to think about new perspectives and approaches to the social challenges of our country. Moreover, the curriculum, as a reiterative school practice, ends up producing and reproducing unsuspected subjective forms according to the demands of a society, thus producing particular ways of acting and thinking that, among other aspects, are alienating. The proposal, then, is to identify this situation in order to transcend a merely technical curriculum and reproducer of social practices and bet on an emancipating curriculum, autonomizing the subjects and transforming the practices of a social group. Hence, questioning and debating the training in psychology is central both for the discipline and for the context.
