Shrnutí:This book delves into the meaning of marital breakdown for a group of professional mothers, before, during and after their decision to separate. Situated in the paradigm of complexity, the authors allow us to understand this reality from a systemic relationship between the macro and the micro. The research makes visible the tensions between the general and the singular, by analyzing the decision of each of the participants in the context of a historical moment in which relations between men and women tend to be more equitable and divorce is a legal option for both. Likewise, the discussion of the results is carried out considering the socioeconomic conditions and generational dynamics of each family.
