| Summary: | The family has been recognized in most societies as an important organizational form, due to the fact that it is attributed functions such as procreation, the socialization process, survival, physical and mental well-being, education, satisfaction of affective needs, initial configuration of personal identity, among others, all functions that influence individuals, Satir (2002) states that in the family elements are generated that will determine in the individual states of health and strength or states of psychic or emotional illness. The family has been transformed from the nuclear model to the emergence of various family forms which, according to Beck and Beck-Gernsheim (2003) "continue to play an important role, but at the same time, and this is what is new, autonomy, independence and personal space are valued much more than before" (p. 191). When the family creates, based on its structure and resources, a family business for productive and lucrative purposes, an alternative dynamic is generated that can lead to ambivalent and conflictive situations for its members, affecting both the family and the business structure. |
