Dazu zieht sie die sozialethischen Prinzipien Personalität, Solidarität, Subsidiarität und Nachhaltigkeit als Beurteilungsmaßstab heran. Bei der Analyse zeigt sich deutlich die Güte des Kodex, allerdings sind auch Schwachstellen auszumachen, die u. a. auf den Status als internationales Kompromiss-Papier zurückzuführen sind.
