الملخص:The objective of this research work was to evaluate the effectiveness of free games in the development of creative thinking in 5-year-old students of the Educational Institution Nº 329 of Huancavelica. The methodology of free games offers a dynamic and active education to students, which encourages the development of creative thinking in 5-year-old students, through a greater sense of security and self-confidence. This methodology was carried out in a motivating environment and free areas, focusing on dynamic and motivating participation, in order to strengthen their abilities and skills, seeking for them to develop autonomous learning. With the results obtained, it can be affirmed that free games directly favor the development of creative thinking in 5-year-old children, since Student's t-test with 53 degrees of freedom, for independent samples, with a significance of 5%, shows a value of 0.038, which is lower than the value proposed, accepting the alternative hypothesis as valid.
