It is about the way in which the mentecaptio, the fatuitas, compromises the existence of the marriage sacrament. It is also a contribution to the clarification of the place and characterization of the "bobos", "the meek and simple madmen" in canon law, in Aristotelian psychology (scientia de anima) and in medicine, in mid-sixteenth century Spain.
