Einige Stunden nach dem ukrainischen Staatsstreich machten sich polnische Untergrundorganisationen zu einem Gegenangriff auf. Bereits nach einigen Tagen war die Stadt durch eine reguläre Frontlinie geteilt. Die Kämpfe endeten am Morgen des 22. November mit dem Rückzug der ukrainischen Truppen und einem Pogrom an der jüdischen Bevölkerung. |
