Descripció
Sumari:This Special Issue is a brief collection of 10 papers focused on the development and characterization of superhydrophobic and icephobic coatings that are helpful, in combination with active Ice Protection Systems (IPS), in protecting aircrafts from ice accretion. The synergistic combination of active and passive IPSs reduces the required power consumption, thereby paving the way for more sustainable and efficient solutions for flight safety.
