Summary:Nowadays, the interventional treatment of cardiac arrhythmias represents a continuous challenge. This is mainly due to the widening of indications for implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) and for catheter ablation (CA), as well as to the continuous improvement of these technologies. Despite updates in the international guidelines and worldwide consensus, evidence gaps persist at all points. This special issue covers miscellaneous aspects of invasive and non invasive electrophysiology including integrating imaging during electrophysiologic procedures, prevention of stroke, and management of devices.
