Published Fortschreitender gesellschaftlicher Wandel geht mit erheblichen Veränderungen einher, z.B. in den Verhältnissen zwischen Mensch, Natur und Technologie, in sozialen Bezügen sowie im Verhältnis zum (eigenen) Körper. Im Zentrum der Publikation stehen traditionelle Konstanten und neue Bedeutungen des Körpers in einer sich beständig dynamisch wandelnden Welt.
