The present contribution offers the critical edition of the Poema heroico and the facing Italian translation. The text of the work is preceded by an introductory study that aims to situate the poem in its literary-historical context, provide an interpretation of the most relevant formal and content aspects (structure, style, themes), investigate possible sources and outline a picture of its reception. |
