| Resumo: | Multi-author monograph Dynamics of revitalization processes on the example of the Lodz Center for Support and Development. Opportunities and limitations of implementation represents an interdisciplinary approach , linking different scientific perspectives represented by social pedagogy, sociology, and cultural anthropology. The publication is the result of the authors' research work commissioned by the City of Lodz. The project concerned the design of a newly emerging institution providing specialized social services in the area of undergoing revitalization. The premise of the publication is to look at revitalization processes and its implementation on the example of the project in which the authors were involved. Thus, the book includes analyses and interpretations of data and materials after project research, where the spatial and social conditions affecting the designed institution, the diversity of its future beneficiaries and social actors from the territory of the newly established unit are taken into account, among other things. The work also addresses the issue of innovation in the city's social policy. |
