| Streszczenie: | Contributions presented at the Educational V4 Platform for Capacity Building in Oncology conference are published in the electronic collection. The conference took place on October 5, 2022, and November 6, 2022, in cooperation with the Visegrad funds, the Pharmaround Foundation, and the Institute of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University through the CZECRIN project.The conference's main theme, interspersed on both days, was the educational support of clinical coordinators, start-up managers, and clinical nurses within the framework of academic clinical research or clinical trials initiated by researcher-physicians.A successful capacity-building practice requires a concerted effort to obtain sufficient resources and support from relevant stakeholders to ensure effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. As we have pointed out in the past, oncology clinical trials lack professional and trained staff; thus, oncology clinical evaluation is limited. This is why we implemented a capacity-building training program that improved local knowledge in key areas such as design, clinical trial rules, biostatistics, and pathology. |
