| Shrnutí: | Gender and Nationness: Trans/locations is a project which constitutes a part of the transforming, contemporary studies on modernism, inspired by the rapidly developing gender theory, and analysing literary texts with a particular focus on poetry works. The selection of writers that the author is concerned with (Maria Komornicka, later known as Piotr Odmieniec Włast [1876-1949], Else Lasker-Schüler [1869-1945] and Mina Loy [1882-1966]) is a result of the development of transnational studies on modernism, for which, in turn, the main inspiration was the postcolonial thought, and which could be called, in the words of Dipesh Chakrabarty, ‘the provincialisation of Europe’. |
