Summary:Garona was previously the name of the journal of the Centre d'Études des Cultures d'Aquitaine et d'Europe du Sud (CECAES). It was founded in 1985 and has published eighteen issues, the last of which was published by Presses Universitaires de Bordeaux in 2008. On hiatus since the retirement of Guy Latry, the previous director of CECAES, it has now become a collection on the UN@ platform. This first volume is based on the proceedings of the study days organised in 2018 and 2019. The first, held on 14 February 2018, was entitled Enseigner l'occitan, enseigner en occitan - Ensenhar l'occitan, ensenhar en occitan; the second, held on 13 March 2019, was entitled Enseigner, promouvoir et diffuser l'occitan / Hommage à Bernard Lesfargues, poète, traducteur et fondateur des éditions fédérop.
