Resumo:The book Pedagogical lnnovations in Polish Diaspora Education presents in an innovative way the current theoretical and practical issues concerning work with bilingual and multilingual children in Polish community schools. In doing so, it fills a gap in the Polish market, which lacks studies of this kind. The theoretical chapters provide an insight into the current situation of Polish community education in selected countries, while the scenarios presented in the book on local fauna and flora are a valuable source of knowledge not only for teachers, educators, students but also for the local community: parents and bilingual and multilingual children. The publication is the result of cooperation between researchers from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland and Polish teachers from community schools run by associations in Spain, lceland, Turkey and Italy, as part of the project “Pedagogical lnnovations in Polish Diaspora Education. Supporting teachers competences in a bilingual and multilingual environment”, co-founded by the European Union.
