| Özet: | Title in English: 57th Annual Cytogenomics Conference: Collection of abstracts The collection contains abstracts of lectures and posters presented at the 57th Annual Cytogenomics Conference, which took place on September 5–6, 2024 in Brno. Individual contributions cover the two main areas of cytogenomics, oncocytogenomics and clinical cytogenomics. In the oncocytogenomics section, the results of analyzes were presented mainly from the field of hematological malignancies, such as leukemia and lymphomas, but also from the field of solid tumors of both children and adults. The field of clinical cytogenomics was presented with statistical overviews of the occurrence of congenital developmental defects and interesting findings of congenital chromosomal and gene aberrations, interesting case reports from routine clinical practice. Both areas of cytogenomics then together showed the importance and use of the method of optical genome mapping (OGM) in the section Advanced methods in cytogenomics. |
