And recently, it has also reached formerly developing countries in Asia, such as China. International cooperation, including international development cooperation, promotes the exchange of ways to tackle the social and economic challenges in order to find globally applicable solutions, thereby contributing to sustainable development. By presenting lessons learned in other countries, this book provides guidance for policy makers, city representatives and academicians seeking solutions for the challenges of an aging society in their own countries.
