The reflections presented must be recontextualized, redesigned, and reimagined in light of the lived experiences of those of us committed to this collective dream of a just and equitable society. As a provocation, the book introduces simple conceptual and didactic tools to approach peace studies from a gender perspective, exploring concepts such as peace, make peace, peace culture, and peacebuilding, which raise questions about the role of women. It also addresses the cost of war for women, the urgency of recognizing and respecting their rights, as well as themes of truth, memory, healing, and the monitoring of affirmative measures from the Peace Agreement, which are framed as an ethical-political responsibility stemming from our civic commitment to achieving peace. |
