The volume is enriched by an in-depth analysis of the attitude of Italian philosophy towards racism, a reconstruction of the responses that Piero Martinetti opposed to the racist census and the text of the Laudatio to Senator Liliana Segre on the occasion of the awarding of her honorary degree in Historical Sciences. |

Con questa terribile storia l’Università degli Studi di Milano, in occasione del suo centenario di fondazione, ha deciso di fare i conti per la prima volta, promuovendo una mostra che documentasse l’applicazione in Ateneo delle cosiddette Leggi razziali. Il catalogo che ora si pubblica, integrato rispetto all’allestimento originario di alcune sezioni, consente di seguire le tappe burocratico-amministrative della persecuzione e di valutarne gli effetti sulle donne e sugli uomini che la subirono, fossero docenti affermati o assistenti a inizio carriera.
