Özet:The main theme of the monograph is the flexibility of micro and small Polish enterprises, described from the perspective of its relationship with external financing from public funds. The research focuses on identification, factors, analysis and evaluation of the impact of external financing on the flexibility of firms. It is assumed that external financing with the use of public funds, through its formalized nature and a rigorous work schedule, affects the flexibility of micro and small enterprises. The monograph attempts to take a comprehensive look at the issue of flexibility, which is important for the contemporary management of micro and small enterprises, and is considered in the context of entrepreneurship and opportunity management as well as the characteristics of resources, including financial resources. Access to and the full use of financial resources, greater disposition and control to a high degree, may contribute to the increase of enterprise flexibility and, as a result, fuller use of market opportunities. The monograph may be a useful scientific, methodological and didactic aid for students of management and entrepreneurship subjects, for the business community, as well as for all persons dealing with the subject of the functioning of micro and small enterprises.
