| description | The mass press in the Congress Poland, just as periodicals in the whole Europe, filled of the roles typical for media in modernity. It had essential influence on the society integration and striking up the social bands. The key role of press in 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century related to its principal part in the transformation of the societies from the traditional to the modern ones. It laid the groundwork for the mass culture which is a phenomenon of the modernity. Mass press was the most important measure of the information circulation and polish social communication. It was crucial in description of the reality and popularisation of new conceptions of the social order. It also promoted activities in the interest of education development and new education standards. The annotated bibliography concerns the problem of the presence in the Congress Poland press after the revolution of 1905-1907 and at the time of the First World War education in the broad sense and significance of the youth. The bibliography considers 155 socio-cultural periodicals. Journalistic texts, columns, polemics, and correspondence were analysed. The main descriptions are supplied by the annotation and keywords set under each of them. Keywords characterise the subject area of the analysed journals regarding education of the children and youth in broad sense. The bibliography is fulfilled by the Keywords Index in alphabetical order. Another used in the bibliography list is Person Index. It considers the names of the authors of the quoted journalism and the persons appearing in those texts or their titles in alphabetical order. Presenting the wealth of the subjects concerning education covered in press public debate as well as the number of interested in it publicists is a result of the bibliography. |
