Beskrivelse
Summary:This paper is dedicated to the analysis of film-related writing activities by Wojciech Kuczok, including To piekielne kino (Warszawa 2006); Moje projekcje. Lęki i niepokoje widza kinowego (Warszawa 2009). Critical practices – often identified as „game” or „strategy” – may lead to an order and balance. Most of all, however, it refers to judgement, resulting as a sort of rebellion against stiff structures and patterns. This raises a question: Can this kind of work include professions like a film critic, even if the critic is also a film industry creator? One of many possible answers can be found by seeking throughout Wojciech Kuczok's film-related writings. The author od Senność blends two sets of competences in his artistic approach: one of an artist, and one of an interpreter-critic. Methodology: analysis and interpretation of the selected source texts.
