Riassunto:This article is about the phenomenon of Russian disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic from the beginning of its outbreak in the world. The article answers how Russian disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic is created, for what reason it is created, whether there is a connection between it and the security of other countries, and whether it is a specially created political tool. The article aims to show that there is a connection between the created Russian disinformation and the security of other countries, and that disinformation is a special created political tool by Russian decision-makers. To examine and answer the research questions, the narrative method was used, the statements of leading Russian politicians and the messages of the mass media dependent on the Russian government are analysed. This article consists of three parts. In the first part, the history of pandemics occurring in the world is approximated, in the second, the phenomenon of disinformation in world politics is discussed, while the third focuses on Russian disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many sources were used in this article, e.g. the monograph by Magdalena Żakowska Trouble with a bear. Russia in the German, Austrian and Swiss media discourse from the 19th to the 21st century. There are quite a lot of sources relating to the pandemic and disinformation, but there are problems with the sources about Russian disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
