Summary:Throughout the last two decades, the desire and the need to approach the Arab world have materialized in an increase in the number of Arabic students and teachers, as well as in a proliferation of methods, materials, congresses and forums of discussionAround the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language (ELAE). However, there is a way to go: many of the challenges and questions that this field poses are not yet resolved. This work includes some of the most representative contributions of Arabele12, Second International Congress held in Spain in the 21st century on the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language.
