| description | Obstetrics practices do not intend to perform specialized training in obstetrics, but to settle and apply the theoretical knowledge previously acquired in the current course. It is necessary to update these theoretical knowledge if it is intended to take advantage of the practice. The objective is to make a first practical approach of the subject. It is about giving a vision of the care activity and its keys to understanding the management of different consultations or areas. The dignity of the patients we attend should be accepted by all, and must go to the practices properly dressed, accessing the lassalas when the patient's care that is being treated at that time has ended, without interrupting it. Doubts or questions about the management of patients should be asked by the student once the patient assistance by the doctor has ended in order not to interfere in said assistance.On the other hand, all medical care is preserved by a confidentiality commitment, given the private nature of the data that are treated, and that are very important in the specialty of Obstetrics. Medicine students must acquire this commitment once the practice has begun. We must try to be understanding about the fact of healthcare pressure can sometimes collapse many colleagues involved in undergraduate and postgraduate formation, trying among all to have an attitude of collaboration and interest in the rotation that is going to be carried out. Obstetrics practices are based on rotations due to the different clinical units of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service. |
