In this selection, which begins with the article dedicated to Seneca's Oedipus from 1974 and which closes with the myths of Ovid's Metamorphoses in Pontanus' commentary from 2017, we have tried to offer a kind of panorama of the interests of Professors Álvarez and Iglesias. Although all of them can be placed under two emblematic words: Ovid and Mythology, some extend their arms towards fields closely related to them, such as Classical Tradition and Mythography, the most philological face of Mythology. |
