| Sumari: | The tasks of conservation, restoration and reuse of architectural heritage in Spain between 1975 and 2015 have had great relevance and have constituted an extremely unique experience. The opening to international currents, the importance of heritage as an identity element, the large number of interventions, the technical development achieved in the action on pre -existing architecture and the diversity of trends and proposals, make these four decades a unique phenomenon andof great interest in the international panorama. The recovery of architectural heritage has generally been done with a good technical level and as a service to society. To this have contributed adequate legislation, administrative decentralization, specialized training, the existence of large investments and a growing social interest in cultural heritage. The result is many actions of conservation of architectural heritage, with very diverse criteria, but characterized by innovation and the high technical level. This book studies the development of the theory and practice of conservation of architectural heritage in our country in the democratic stage, through division into six chapters, plus an introduction and conclusions. The study begins by analyzing the regulatory, administrative and social framework; Next, the development of conceptual and methodological contributions is addressed; Finally, practical achievements are studied, divided into approximately four periods with decidenal periods. |
