Sumari:This book is located in the tradition of biographical anthropology that is related to oral history and history "from below". It moves between anthropology and history, trying to tell the past from the perspective of individuals and their efforts to get decent lives in the context in which they have to live. Specifically, this book brings together seven biographies of people who have in common to be buried in the municipal cemetery of Murcia, representing different eras and different social groups. With this diversity they make up pieces of the puzzle that draws the daily world of different stages of the history of Spain and, in particular, of what it happened in the city of Murcia.
