description This book includes the main communications presented to the I Days of Educational Innovation.Visual art and culture.New methodological and teaching strategies, organized by the Group of Teaching Innovation Visual and Gender Culture (Cuvige) and held in the Department of Art History of the University of Murcia in November 2021. It is a volume that has contributions of various kinds whose theme is grouped around a general idea: educational innovation through the implementation of new methodological and teaching strategies.Starting from this base, three thematic blocks can be distinguished. The first one focuses on proposals linked to collaborative and participatory methodologies for students, both applied to activities carried out within the classroom and outside of this. The second group is the contributions dedicated to the design of didactic guides or thematic itineraries related to several collections of museum institutions, thus addressing innovative speeches that, in most cases, do not find their space in the contents traditionally taught in the classroom. The third and last of the thematic blocks is reserved for issues related to mobile learning (m-learning) and digital dissemination through the use of different digital platforms, especially social networks, which become extremely useful tools that allow Connect the student and the teacher in the learning process.Contributions all of them that bring us closer to new ways of understanding and teaching the history of art.
