| Özet: | Colombia's recent history has been characterized by numerous episodes of violence, suffering, and uncertainty involving various armed groups. Each of these groups has its own narratives, objectives, and methods of waging war. This first chapter attempts to provide a historical and theoretical context to guide the reader through the historical memory of the armed conflict, reconstructed by students in the Political Science Program at the University of Santiago de Cali. Thus, this section seeks to identify the most distinctive characteristics of the historical evolution of the conflict in Colombia, define the concept of Historical Memory, and analyze the importance of reconstructing, recounting, and disseminating the stories of victimization that occurred during the internal armed conflict in Colombia. |
