Published Esta obra apresenta uma defesa da unidade interna do pensamento filosófico de Paul Ricœur, muitas vezes encarado como disperso e passando de um tema para outro completamente diferente. Com efeito, a via longa do pensamento filosófico da pessoa, em Ricœur, obriga a diferentes abordagens, uma vez que o filósofo considera que o novo sujeito não se compreende de forma imediata, como acontecia com o cogito tradicional. É através das expressões das suas capacidades e vulnerabilidades, das suas obras, ações e decisões históricas que podemos entender o caráter eminentemente ético da pessoa.
