Riassunto:The purpose of this chapter is to demonstrate, analyze and reflect on the changes and sustained aspects regarding the employer entities of so-cial workers in Cali and Valle del Cauca, salary offer, ease of access to the first job, contracting conditions and other legal guarantees during the last decade. Among the topics developed in the chapter is the difficulty presented by gradu-ates of the last 5 years in finding a job position quickly and easily compared to graduates in the previous five years, due to various factors that are discussed later. Regarding the predominant employability during the last 10 years, the institutions of the third sector (non-profit entities: foundations, NGOs, among others) stand out as the main providers of employment, other employability factors are the lack of guarantees of stability and compliance with labor rights caused by the trend of fixed-term hiring and service provision established in Colombia, the precariousness of the salary offer that, although it is generally evident in all professionals, is more acute in the recent graduates. Among the most relevant changes to highlight, are those observed in relation to employ-ment providers related to the private sector, which is increasingly positioned as an employability alternative for Social Work professionals, thanks to the so-cial processes that they lead, these at their time motivated by community and environmental demands and government tax relief to these business entities.
