סיכום:The massacres that occurred from the beginning of the armed conflict in the 1950s until the disappearance of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) are currently the subject of analysis in Colombian academia. The evidence of these massacres makes them susceptible to diverse interpretations, and for this reason, they have been representative of the armed conflict. These events have been described by the State, the media, and literature. Migrations and immigrations in Colombia caused 52,000 families to abandon their lands due to the violence inflicted against them by the army, guerrilla groups, and the AUC. This situation arose from the seizure of lands by force or forced purchase, which we could estimate to be approximately 160 hectares (Tovar, 2006).
