| Итог: | Alliances between academia and public institutions are essen-tial for coordinated social action that contributes to the well-being and quality of life of more vulnerable population subgroups. In public health, it is identified that adolescents have a high vulnerability due to risky be-haviors or practices related to processes and accelerated changes that they experience both in their physical maturation, as well as in the sexual and emotional sphere. This article presents the experience developed to characterize behaviors and health risks and implement educational strat-egies on priority issues for coping, aimed at adolescents in the North of Cali. The materials and methods correspond to an intervention and social extension experience carried out in 2022, through a public-private alli-ance, between the Red de Salud del Norte ESE and the Santiago de Cali University (USC). The intervened subgroups were the school population of two public schools, linking in the development to students of the Medi-cine program, in community training practice, of the USC. The results in-clude consensus with the participation of various institutional actors to define priority issues. Strategies adapted to the adolescent community are designed, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, and are developed using videos, conversations, and printed material. The impact includes multiple beneficiaries, intervening in the vulnerable adolescent population and at the same time linking the university community with its social environ-ment, contributing to comprehensive training with humanistic skills and academic quality for future medical professionals at USC. |
