| Özet: | The industrial engineer stands out as a professional with high technical and socio - humanistic skills, whose main purpose is to analyze the context and solve situations through complex solutions. From the above, one of the functions of the Universities is to declare in its organi-zational structure principles and values that permeate from the curricu-lum through the transfer of different subjects.However, some students in their last semester in internships have shown deficiencies in the behavioral actions that influence and shape the pro-fessional profile. According to Moncada (2020), the difficulties lie mainly in the attitude rather than in the aptitude of the professionals when de-veloping their activities, due to the fact that in part, the learning proces-ses received in the family nucleus are diverse or the lack of reflection of values in the framework of morality in the academic processes.For their part, Aristizábal and Alarcón (2018) mention the importance of a direct reflection of professional ethics, with the purpose of making a characterization of the professional profile of the industrial engineer according to values of his behavior that should be guiding axes in his work, professional and personal context.Therefore, an exploratory study of qualitative nature is presented, taking the approach of different results developed during the training in Co-lombian universities. It starts from an approach to the evaluation of the process of practices and internships as a sample of the importance of stu-dents to develop technical skills with moral and humanitarian qualities implemented in the curricular plan. |
