| Zusammenfassung: | This paper aims to inform and educate, from various contexts, about the exposure of society, caused by different factors, to the con-sumption of counterfeit drugs or medical devices. It is a topic of great relevance, since there is no collective awareness of its impact on both health and the economy, therefore on culture at a global level. First, the importance of the topic was recorded, later, through a report issued by the WHO, its effects on health, manufacturing method, and legislation were contextualized. The problem focused on Colombia was covered and some mechanisms to mitigate them were recorded. |
