| Sumari: | Comparative Law plays a key role in promoting dialogue between European and Muslim law, as producers of goods and services for the European market are called not only to respect Euro-Unitary law but also to assess carefully halal prescriptions, since the only way to trust the Muslim consumers is to provide adequate transparency and accessibility to reference information. From this perspective, the acquisition of halal certification plays a significant role in the sale of consumer goods and, at the same time, a decisive role in the access of some goods rather than others to the European market. The collected works in this volume focus on the sale of consumer goods in terms of Shari’a compliant, highlighting how European consumerism faces a complex of challenges and opportunities that are fueled by the multicultural society and the growing demand for halal products among non-Muslims. |
