Vold i nære relasjoner og seksuelle krenkelser har etter hvert blitt prioriterte politikkområder i Norge. Denne boka undersøker de rettslige og institusjonelle sidene ved det som etter hvert har vokst fram som et eget tiltaksfelt, voldsfeltet. Voldsfeltet har gjennomgått store endringer over tid og denne utviklingen representerer overordnet en betydelig investering og framgang i arbeidet mot vold i nære relasjoner og seksuelle krenkelser, men de valgte løsningene skaper også nye utfordringer.
