Shrnutí:Possibly, in the immense universe of possibilities that we human beings live in, we would never have imagined that we would have to live through the arrival of a virus that became a pandemic, which would later lead the world to enter a stage of confinement, losing contact with the outside world; there were changes in the ways of living, working and studying. But not everything could stop, at least not the health professionals, who was going to take care of the infected? Teaching processes could not stop either, how would classes be taught? These, among many others, were the issues that made up the long list of unknowns. Interpersonal relationships, communication, coexistence and all daily activities were changed, no longer developed in the same way and this had implications at the political, social, community, economic, physical, emotional and mental levels. And it is precisely on these aspects that this book investigates, whose purpose is to tell the experiences lived during the pandemic that brought with it the arrival of covid-19 from the professional practice in Psychology, exploring from the investigative and experiential the implications of the pandemic and the challenges that are added to the health sector with the post-pandemic, It explores the implications of the pandemic and the challenges that are added to the health sector with the post-pandemic, which must be faced from the experience of health personnel, through the implementation of strategies at the departmental level, the perception of patients and the adequate accompaniment that should be given to them, as well as the value of friendship in coping with the confinement of the elderly. This book proposes a way to propose strategies to care for the caregiver, up to how the conditions in which the pandemic occurred affected the performance and emotional state of the students. This book reviews the creation, development and implementation of programs with specific objectives to promote mental health, takin into account theoretical approaches and the use of appropriate techniques and instruments. The research, planning, intervention and evaluation process was carried out with teachers and trainees of the Psychology program of the Universidad Libre, Cali branch, and of the Universidad Santiago de Cali, who were doing their professional practice, in addition to the support and accompaniment of other members of the institutions.
