Zusammenfassung:The past pandemic caused changes in the daily life of people, therefore, there was evidence of high concern regarding the mental health of patients who were hospitalized, because they could not have contact with their support network, as a result, the need arises to create the “Until we can hug each other” program. However, after the pandemic, it has been shown that there is still a need to strengthen the patient’s support network, because there are still certain difficulties in establishing contact with the hospitalized and their relatives, so there is a need to continue this program after the pandemic and mitigate the impact that may arise from long or short hospital stays. Objective:Strengthen the support networks in the hospitalized patient in the HUV in order to reduce the negative psychological impact resulting from the restriction of contact. Results: The application of this program has so far given results that favor the adaptation of the hospital environment, evidenced qualitatively with word clouds and quantitatively, observing that 422 are satisfied and 275 are very satisfied with the participation of the program. Conclusion: The activities carried out in this project allowed patients to identify their support networks and connect with them.
