| Özet: | This book is the first in the European Philosophical Studies series and includes the papers from the international conference, The European Province. Ideas and Representations of the Crisis of Europe. 1900-1939, which was held at the University of Naples Federico II from March 13 to 15, 2023. The book is divided into four sections. The first section, The Words of the Crisis, gives a general idea of the European crisis. It uses some important works from that time. The next section, Diseases and Cures, looks at the work of important ‘psychopathologists of the spirit’ who could identify and treat the European disease. The third section, Narratives of Crisis, features historians and writers. They discuss the spiritual atmosphere of the ‘crisis of European consciousness.’ The fourth and final section, Actions and Reactions, welcomes contributions with more political implications. |
