Beskrivelse
Summary:The town of Sant'Antioco, located on the western Mediterranean island of the same name, is the star of LUDiCa 23, the digital history summer camp that brings together university students, citizens and institutions to rediscover and narrate the modern history of the island. Twenty students, trained in a “digital workshop”, set up a project in the town to study and rediscover local history. With the help of local administrators, the archaeological museum and historical archives, associations and inhabitants, students tried to investigate the deep connection between the community and the sea, from Sant'Antioco's 18th-century foundation to the 20th century. Oral testimonies, sto rical photographs and precious documents are the sources of this collective tale, which is enriched by the contribution offered by the AISO (Italian Association of Oral History) summer school held for the first time in Sardinia, precisely in Sant'Antioco. The volume offers readers the “logbooks” of these diverse and intertwined experiences, with access to the documentation collected in the field, suitably metadata and spatialised.
