| Shrnutí: | Philosophical Counseling is a discipline created to put philosophy at the service of concrete life. Inspired by the thought of Gerd Achenbach, it aims to guide individuals in understanding themselves and the world, enhancing the quality of life through dialogue and reflection.
This volume arises from the experience of the Master's Program in Philosophical Counseling and Existential Anthropology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, in collaboration with the European University of Rome. Three former students — a manager, a doctor, and a high school teacher — demonstrate through their theses how philosophy can be applied in the workplace, in healthcare, and in education, offering tools to face daily challenges in a more conscious and humane way.
Enriched by contributions from Prof. Guido Traversa, the program’s academic coordinator, Prof. Fr. Alberto Carrara, and Dr. Alfredo Sostero, the book offers a vivid and rigorous testimony to the effectiveness of Philosophical Counseling in various areas of contemporary society. |
