This study explores the inherent conflicts between the disclosure of privileged information to address corporate misconduct and the fundamental principles of legal confidentiality and professional independence. Published Bei der Bekämpfung von Wirtschaftskriminalität spielt der Zugriff auf das Insiderwissen von Hinweisgebern eine immer wichtigere Rolle. Dabei geraten zunehmend auch wirtschaftsberatende Rechtsanwälte und andere vergleichbare Berufsträger als Informationsquelle in den Fokus. Die Arbeit untersucht berufs- und außerberufsrechtliche Pflichten der Anwaltschaft zur Verhinderung und Aufklärung von Wirtschaftsstraftaten und die daraus folgenden Konfliktlinien zwischen der Nutzung anwaltlichen Sonderwissens zur Bekämpfung von Wirtschaftskriminalität einerseits sowie der anwaltlichen Verschwiegenheit und Unabhängigkeit andererseits.
