Von der Wissensproduktion und Erkenntnisgenerierung bis zur Veröffentlichung wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten wirken verschiedene machtvolle Selektionsmechanismen, mit denen sich Autor*innen im Rahmen der Praktiken wissenschaftlichen Publizierens im Bereich der Erwachsenenbildungswissenschaft beschäftigen. Schon die Formulierung einer Idee unterliegt bestimmten Wertzuschreibungen und Funktionslogiken des Publizierens und bei der Begutachtung eingereichter Manuskripte geht es nicht (mehr) nur um die Beurteilung dargestellter Ergebnisse und Erkenntnisse, sondern auch – selbst beim Double-Blind-Review – um die Be-/Wertung der Wissenschaftler*innen selbst.
