الملخص:The 42nd International Meetings of Archaeology and History aimed to present the state of the art of research in spatial archaeology in tribute to Jean-Luc Fiches, who died suddenly in 2012. As Director of Research at the CNRS, he directed the Centre de Recherches Archéologiques from 1987 to 1998, which later became the UMR CEPAM. By exploring recent advances in this field of research, the papers gathered in this book provide, in their diversity, an overview of the data, methods and concepts used to study the dynamics of settlement, territories and landscapes. In so doing, they highlight the seminal work of Jean-Luc Fiches and the vitality of his intellectual legacy.
