Zusammenfassung:The handbook consists of eleven chapters. It discusses fundamental aspects of the assembly of selected assembly units and selected methods of joining components of machinery and equipment. The characteristics of assembly methods depending on the production volume, organization and technological equipment of a production plant are included, i.e. assembly with complete (full) interchangeability, with the use of selection, with the use of compensation and with individual adjustment of assembled elements, while the principles of selection assembly are discussed in detail. The characteristics and principles of creating pivot-friction joints, adhesive joints of metals and their alloys and polymer plastics, riveted, soldered, welded and threaded joints are presented. The principles of assembly of bearings, gears and cylindrical adhesive joints are included. Issues of regeneration of machine elements with the use of regenerative polymer compounds are presented, including a demonstration of an exemplary repair with regenerative polymer compounds and a comparison of the strength of a regenerated and an undamaged component.
