סיכום:Sea level rise is one of the most significant impacts of anthropogenic climate change. According to the Paris Agreement, the increase in the average global temperature should be limited to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels. This dissertation examines the responsibility of states under public international law as well as the resulting legal consequences in the event of the decline of a state without a legal successor due to climate change in the particular context of the Paris Agreement.
