Mit seiner Studie untersucht Sebastian Hempel, wie Sozialarbeiter*innen in verschiedenen Arbeitsfeldern normative Orientierungsmuster in ihrem professionellen Handeln erzeugen – oft implizit, aber mit weitreichenden Folgen für ihre Adressat*innen. Er rekonstruiert anhand von Gruppendiskussionen und Bildmaterial die normativen Rahmungen sozialarbeiterischer Praxis und zeigt, wie diese das professionelle Handeln prägen.
